Yoko's Fuming

John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, will be in a Boston court next week fighting to stop footage of Lennon smoking pot, writing songs and discussing putting the hallucinogenic drug LSD in President Richard Nixon's tea from going public.

Juicy!

This footage, ironically, was taped by Ono's ex-husband Anthony Cox for a documentary he planned titled Portrait.

Rolling Stone magazine dubs the video of the Beatle, "awesome John Lennon footage you might never see."

A Massachusetts-based company called World Wide Video claims ownership of the videos in question. The company, reportedly paid more than $1 million for the footage after legal costs and other expenses.

They nearly premiered it last year at the private Berwick Academy in Maine but abruptly scrapped the screening after the school received a stop order from Ono's lawyers, who assert copyright ownership of the videotapes.

According to court documents, World Wide said it bought 24 original videotapes and their copyrights in 2000 from Anthony Cox in 1969.

Jonathan Albano, Ono's lawyer in Boston, declined to comment on the case.

We hope to see the tapes regardless of what side wins!!!!!

Sounds like Yoko's in the wrong in this case, though.
