Not Guilty

Sacha Baron Cohen is one lucky guy.

A judge has just tossed out a defamation lawsuit by Jeffrey Lemerond, who appeared in the 2006 film Borat, being chased down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

Lemerond, a financial analyst, was suing for unspecified damages.

In the movie, Lemerond is shwon as he runs away from Borat, who portrays a fake Kazakhstan journalist who's trying to hug strangers, and yells for Borat to "Go away!"

The Federal judge, Loretta Preska, concluded that although the movie had somewhat of a childish humor and was a bit vulgar, it also attempts an ironic commentary and is newsworthy.

Sacha is a free man. For now.

Until Bruno!
