It seems that the violence against 'outsiders' is spreading.
Yesterday we mentioned how emo kids in Mexico are being attacked, as well as in Chile. Now, reports are surfacing of a recent attack in El Paso, Texas.
Why's it so hard to love one another???? Or at least be indifferent!
A confrontation in an upscale mall in took place Wednesday night between a group of "emo" kids and a group of "punk" kids.
Police are saying the incident could have started with an exchange of words. Even worse, they fear it could have been a copycat attack of the highly publicized attacks on emos in Mexico.
Officials released a statement saying that the police anti-gang unit would increase patrols at popular teen hangouts in order to discourage any fights.
Why do people still find the need to attack others? Can't everyone just get along?
Seriously, we need to put an end to violence.
